Who am I:
I qualified as a Dispensing Optician 27 years ago, during that time I have worked for a number of opticians in West Devon. I am fortunate to have lived near Tavistock most of my life. I have a busy homelife with teenage twin boys, two dogs and the best husband.
Why the world of optics:
When I left school, I wanted a caring profession but didn’t really know what. After a chance conversation I discovered optics and have had an enjoyable and fulfilling career.
What I like best about Iconic:
Working for Iconic means I have time for each patient I see, enabling me to discover the best options to meet their needs using the latest lenses from the industry’s top suppliers. It’s also great being part of such a friendly and caring team, who all do their best for every patient they see.
What catches my eye:
I love walking my dogs in the beautiful countryside that surrounds Tavistock, or curling up with my dogs while I read a book. I volunteer for my local scout group supporting Explorer Scouts and Network Scouts with their DofE awards.
